I love facials, hot yoga, healthy diet and meditations. I cannot recommend them enough for making you feel good. But sometimes changes in your appearance can give you an instant boost to survive Toronto's cold weather.
1. Taking good care of your skin is a priority.
This is the time of the year when skin begins to get dry and cracky. I have already started a skin care routine at home and have been moisturizing my skin more often. Dry skin can definitely make your skin look older. Its always nice to have a vibrant glow and a beautiful skin.
2. Paint your nails a fun colour.
I currently have a bright orange colour, every time I look at them it makes me happy. if you don't feel comfortable with a bright colour on your finger nails, try it on your toes, you will be the only one seeing them. It may put a smile on your face.
3. Get yourself a new hairstyle.
I currently have super long hair and I got lots of layers in the front. The new hair cut allows me to style my hair straight or have voluminous bouncy curls. A fresh new hair cut have always put a big smile on my face for weeks. Honestly, you don't have to do anything dramatic to you hair just cutting a few inches will help you to feel good.
4. Change up your makeup routine.
I have changed my makeup routine to a "no makeup, makeup look". The key is to have my skin clean and natural, but adding a pop of colour on the lip. Bringing changes into your daily routines can help boost your confidence. With this cold weather approaching in Toronto, a little pop of colour on the lips can help you to feel alive.
